Success #2!

This past weekend Jason and I met with a photographer in hopes that it would fulfill all our photographer dreams! We had looked up many photographers online and narrowed it down to a handful we liked the best. We were looking for that artsy feel, a little something different than the traditional wedding photos. As we went to our appointment on Sunday to meet Chance James Photography, I was praying that they would be as great as their photos looked on their website and...they were! Their wedding album was beautiful, their package was customizable, so we got just what we wanted and they were a wonderful couple! They are a husband and wife team, which fit the bill even more! We knew they were the perfect fit to capture our special day! We celebrated with Jason's family at the Big Fresno Fair afterwards where Jason won $200.00 on the first horse race! New to this...

My friend, Christina, suggested I start a blog as I begin on my journey of wedding planning, so here it goes! On October 3rd, Jason asked me to marry him at Sprinkles Cupcakes in LA (our favorite), and then we spent the weekend at Disneyland. It was the best day of my life thus far, I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else! I am blessed beyond belief, the family I am about to call my own could not be more amazing! We have set a date for June 26th, 2010 and will be getting married at what they now call The Grand on 10, I am so excited, it is a beautiful place and just re-opened so it will be a new experience for everyone! So...as I go along on my planning adventures, struggles, frustrations, joys, and successes I invite you to come along! Let me know if you know of any amazing vendors out there that I should be checking out! We have an appointment with a photographer this weekend and two more next week, I am hoping this will be my next success! Enjoy!
